Leo Kao, MD
Board-certified internal medicine physician
Dr. Kao brings years of experience in outpatient primary care to Lakewood Ranch Concierge. After graduating with honors from Ross University School of Medicine, he completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Flushing Hospital in Queens, New York.
Training in a busy, fast-paced New York City hospital gave him broad experience managing a wide variety of patient care needs. During that time he also co-authored a published case report, "Coronary Artery Fistula with Associated Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy."
His approach is simple: know your patients well, give them time, and be reachable when it matters.
