With Leo Kao, MD, at the helm, the practice follows a patient-centric approach to primary care. Dr.
Kao is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with years of experience in outpatient primary
care. After graduating with honors from Ross University School of Medicine, he completed his three-
year internship at Flushing Hospital in Queens, New York. His years of training in New York City, in a
busy, fast-paced hospital, provided him with exceptional opportunities to learn and manage a
substantial variety of patient care needs. Dr. Kao also co-authored a medical publication at that time
called “Coronary Artery Fistula with Associated Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy: A Case Report”.
